Geriatric Care is nothing but the process of planning and coordinating the care of the elderly with physical and mental impairments to meet their long term needs, improve their quality of life, and maintain their independence for as long as possible. The comprehensive assessment consists of primary intake assessment which includes demographic type data as well as a health history, social history, and legal/financial history.
